Phone Call

These days my landline gets mostly telemarketing calls, and, like a lot of people, I’ve pretty much stopped answering it.  The other day when the phone rang I read “Mortreverse” on the Caller ID.  Ah, someone who wants me to get a reverse mortgage, I thought.  Then, the instant the ringing stopped, I thought, What if it’s someone who knows how to reverse death?  And I didn’t answer?!?!?

The mortgage is more likely. By the way, that word begins with 'mort'.
