Women SF Writers of the 1970s

Got a mention in Tor.com's "Fighting Erasure: Women SF Writers of the 1970s, Part II."  This was a (welcome) surprise since my first book came out in 1982, but I guess I scraped by on a technicality -- my first story was published in an anthology called Pandora in 1979.  Anyway, there are a lot more women writers from that decade than I remembered, or even knew about, and this series provides a very useful resource.

When's your next book due, Lisa?

That's sort of complicated. I finished a novel but I want to get my workshop's take on it, which will be next month. So I'll be doing some rewriting, then seeing what my publisher thinks, then maybe some more rewriting... So, this year? Next year?
