Some Stuff
1. Well, I was all set to post about an upcoming Women and Science Fiction panel I was going to be on, but it's been cancelled because San Francisco is trying to limit large gatherings. It sounded like fun -- the other participants would have been M. Luke McDonell, Pat Murphy, Madeleine Robins, and Rebecca Gomez Farrell. They will try to reschedule, and I'll post here when that happens.
2. Here's another year-end comment about Ivory Apples, this one from Graham Sleight: "A delightful and thoughtful contemporary fantasy about family and history from one of the field’s most underappreciated authors."
3. Voted for Elizabeth Warren in the primary on Tuesday. By that time she had next to no chance, but I thought she could get some delegates and make an impact at the Democratic Convention. I'm discouraged that she had to drop out, but I already know who I'm voting for in the general election: any functioning adult with a pulse.
4. And be safe out there! It's feeling like the beginning of a disaster novel, though I know it won't get that bad.
