Character Escapes

One of my characters from Ivory Apples has escaped into the outer world -- or at least a friend of mine tells me he "found" a poem by Ivy Quinn, under the pseudonym of Jane Green, in Poetry West Magazine:

                         JANUS

            The doors of old houses melt,

            Leaving their knobs in my hand.

            I, too, melt. What part of me

            Enters those empty casements?

            Behind my casement a sprite cavorts--

            Truly, he, not I, turned each knob

            And entered and departed

            Everywhere.
